FLUTTER KICK WITH POINTY & FLOPPY TOES

Image
Pointy and floppy feet  Kick plays major role in body balance.  Swimmer should point their toes always, this will reduce the drag and help you to swim faster. And if you don’t point your toes, no matter how good catch you got it will still slow you down. If you kick without pointing your toes actually you will push the water forwards which means your arms and feet working for opposite direction and then most Common question will come in your mind,  Coach “  WHY I’M TOO SLOW”😭😭😭 Kick from the hip: In  good flutter kick the legs are straight while swimmer is kicking from the hips with slight bend(very little) in the knees with flexible ankles. Many swimmers bend their knees too much and kicking from the knees. This creates large amounts of drag and is probably the number one reason for a swimmer's legs to sink down in the water(second reason is head position). Instead of kicking from the knees  swimmer should kick from the hip with straight legs. So make s...

THERE ARE THREE KEY REASONS WHY CORONA VIRUS CAN'T SPREAD THROUGH THE WATER.

Image
First one , it's a respiratory, not water-borne, illness, meaning it spreads when spit droplets fly through the air. Once they hit the water, they're likely diluted enough to no longer be an issue. "In general, respiratory pathogens don't survive in the water," Joseph Eisenberg, chair of the epidemiology department at the University of Michigan's School of Public Health”   Second , also because it's a respiratory virus, catching it involves inhaling it, not swallowing it, Eisenberg said. Those two reasons alone are enough to make swimming in fresh or salt water a relatively safe activity, when it comes to avoiding the coronavirus at least     And finally , when you add chlorine to the mix, the coronavirus is a highly unlikely threat. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, "there is no evidence that the virus that causes COVID-19 can be spread to people through the water in pools, hot tubs, spas, or water play ...
